Newsletter
I think a monthly newsletter would be perfect for my Restaurant business. With each month goes by, I can update my subscribers whats new and offer them deals and discounts to my food. Also newsletter would be helpful to help promote an entree or even a new entree in the restaurant. I would include enticing delicious pictures of the food I'm offering to help persuade the customers to come in. I can include other information that my audience my read, like restaurant bio and history, lifestyles of the workers and the managers as well, if an award is won for the restaurant, I would flaunt it in the newspaper and use it to tell my customers why they should go to my restaurant instead (competition).

Sending out a monthly newsletter for a restaurant business seems very reasonable. You talk about deals and discounts, promoting a particular dish, or your staff.
ReplyDeleteCertainly, winning awards is impressive and something to be proud of, and sharing that information makes perfect sense.
My husband and I have received emails from local restaurants, that we have taken advantage of, promoting just what you are describing. One restaurant I know of gives the recipe for their special desert!
Great ideas! Some additional ideas: As someone else did in their blog, perhaps a small coupon or voucher if they like your Facebook or follow you on Twitter (if your company uses those). Another might be a yearly newsletter for your patrons' birthdays in which they receive something meaningful.
ReplyDeleteDiscounts and sales promotions would be a great idea to include in your newsletters. Not only would it keep subscribers interested, but it would also get these subscribers to possibly become more frequent customers.
ReplyDeletePaul, I can tell you first hand how having photos of delicious food staring at me got me to go out of my way to eat at that restaurant. Visuals work very well especially when it comes to food.
ReplyDeleteHere's a blog tip I came across. Looks interesting:
